Arthur's Seat is the perfect solution for fresh air, great exercise and fantastic views in the heart of Edinburgh. Head up the main path from Pollock Halls, walk along the top of Salisbury Crags, head up over the Radical Road, or explore the more secluded eastern side of Arthur's Seat.
Arthur's Seat is an extinct volcano, with Salisbury Crags a reminder of the giant glacier that moved from west to east, creating a true geological marvel.
Duddingston Village is a charming, pretty village at the bottom of Arthur's Seat, and home to the fantastic Sheep Heed Inn.
